A beggar and a queen
In a grey desert city
Vanishing duplicity
Fighting not to awake
I run on empty streets
In hurried giant leaps
Madman in a cityscape
You walk in my dream
A ghost when I wake
Won’t you please wait
Won’t you hear me scream
Then you hold up your hand
To see if it rains
Now isn’t it strange
How this wasn’t planned
And as the second lingers
You can hear two worlds
My scream is a whisper
But I know I’m heard
Blue synchronicity
Déjà-vu marries chaos
Before the instant’s lost
Let’s run in a grey city
Let’s run silently
